Waa !!! Kelewatan postingnya fans. Maaf jadinya kurang menarik karena sudah agak lama diterbitkan infonya. Cuman ya masalah posting yang terlewat jadi maaf aja kalo berita ini mungkin sudah dingin. Kita semua tahu di tahun 2011 ini Mike Portnoy telah keluar dari Avenged Sevenfold dan digantikan oleh drummer baru bernama arin Illejay yang berasal dari band Confide. Nah saya hanya ingin berbagi sediakit infonya Arin saja, jadi langsung saja kita lihat.

• Nama panjang Arin adalah Richard Arin Illejay, tapi mengapa yang sekarang dia di A7X tak membuat nama samaran.
• Arin lahir tanggal 17 Februari 1988, kalau dilihat dari bulannya Arin dan The Rev sama-sama di bulan Februari. Hanya saja The Rev pada 9 Februari 1981.
• Arin lahir di Ventura, California.
• Orang tua Arin yang ayah bernama Ric Illejay dan yang ibu Charlotte Tuttle.
• Ayah Arin berdarah Amerika, Filipina, dan Meksiko, sedangkan ibunya berdarah Amerika, Belanda, dan Jerman.
• Ayah Arin berprofesi sebagai pemain gitar professional dan ibunya berprofesi menjadi penyanyi injil. Jadi bisa jadi mungkin bakat musik Arin tersalurkan dari orang tuanya.
• Arin mulai bermain drum pada umur sembilan tahun dan diajarkan oleh ayahnya.
• Arin mulai bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold pada bulann Januari tahun 2011.

Billboard Berbicara dengan M.Shadows Tentang Produksi Panggung Baru dan Banyak Lagi

Billboard baru-baru ini berbicara dengan M. Shadows untuk artikel panjang tentangproduksi merek panggung band-band baru, rencana setelah tur, single keempat dan banyak lagi.

The group has a new stage set that includes a 17-by-40-foot version of its “death bat” logo “that catches on fire and shots flames and all sorts of fun stuff. Our drummer (Arin Ilejay) is gonna be playing inside the mouth of it. It’s a very sort of Spinal Tap, over-the-top metal-looking show.”The group is also favoring an unedited version of “Buried Alive” as the album’s fourth single, although it may wait until after the Uproar tour when it can get a director — “Not necessarily a video guy but more of a movie guy,” according to Shadows — to make a video. The group reached out to Rob Zombie, but he’s too busy with his next feature film, “The Lords of Salem.”Also on Avenged Sevenfold’s future agenda is the status of the drum chair, vacated after the December 2009 death of James “The Rev” Sullivan and temporarily filled by ex-Dream Theater member Mike Portnoy before Ilejay took over at the beginning of the year. “(Ilejay) is great,” Shadows says. “He’s 23 now, and the first show he played was in front of 16,000 people, and from there we went to Rock Am Ring, 80 or 90,000 people in Germany. As far as personality and his playing, he’s our guy, but we haven’t been able to write a record with him yet. So we want to make sure for his good and for our good that he can write with us and bring something to the creative and be comfortable in the situation. We’re just trying to work towards that, and hopefully everything works out ’cause we love the guy.”

Makna Lagu Afterlife

Dari awal lagu ini telah mempunyai makna tentang kematian. Afterlife bila anda terjemahkan yang berarti akhirat. Lagu ini tentang seorang pria yang mati, dan pergi ke surga (di akhirat), dan ketika dia ada di sana, ia menyadari bahwa ia memiliki begitu banyak yang harus dikerjakan di bumi, ia memohon tuhan untuk membiarkan dia pergi dan pergi ke bumi untuk menyelesaikan bisnis, karena dia terlalu muda untuk mati.

Bila fans telah melihat videonya, pria yang telah meninggal diperankan oleh M.Shadows. Yang terlihat di awal video ia sedang berlari. Tapi sayang sekali bagian solo Afterlife di video itu dipoting entah apa sebabnya.

DW 9000 PC Single Pedal(x2: The Rev hanya menggunakan 2 pedal tunggal karena ia tidak menggunakan bass drum ketiga karena hanya digunakan untuk pajangan. Jadi Bass drum ke tiga tidak digunakan. The Rev menggunakan black Roc-N-Soc Nitro drum throne.

• Di studio pada album terakhir self-titled, The Rev menggunakan juga cymbal Zildjian: Dia menggunakan 18" Oriental Classic China instead of the Paragon, two 21" Zildjian Z- Custom Mega Bell Rides instead of the AAX Metal Rides dan an A- Custom Projection Crash instead of the AAX Metal Crashes

Matt Baker merupakan adik kandung Zacky dan Dia juga seorang musisi, dimana dia pernah mengeluarkan sebuah video klip yang berjudul “Feel Alive” yang dirilis bulan April 2010.



3. Zina Baker
Zina Baker merupaka adik kandung perempuan dari Zacky Vengeance. Sekarang dia mengganti namanya menjadi Zina Pacheco. Dia telah memiliki dua anak yang diberi nama Gianna dan Gavin.



4. Gianna dan Gavin
Gianna dan Gavin adalah anak dari Zina Baker yang berarti merupaka keponakan dari Zacky Vengeance.

* Ada sedikit catatan nih fans yang munkin sedikit kurang enak didengar yaitu tentang ayah Zacky, sengaja saya tak ceritakan karena massih ragu. Tetapi menurut beberapa media menyebutkan ayah Zacky bernama Matthew Baker meninggal karena dibunuh oleh 7 orang tak dikenal sewaktu Zacky masih kecil*.
