Avenged Sevenfold Manila is the epitome of a ROCKING concert! When In Manila, we often hear people say this or that concert rocked. The concept has been peddled so much practically every concert as of late will have one review or comment saying, “The concert rocked!” We’re not trying to take away anything from the other concerts we may or may not have gone to, but if the subject matter is as straightforward as whether a concert rocked or not, then Avenged Sevenfold Manila definitely, absolutely ROCKED!
Avenged Sevenfold Manila was a fairly short set of 12 songs, but almost all the songs they played were part of my personal wishlist. Opening with “Nightmare”, following through with “Welcome to the Family”, and transforming the audience into a crazy stampede with “Almost Easy”, M. Shadows‘ raspy voice transitioned effortlessly between powerful screams and clean vocals. Integrating fire-breathing, finger-blistering Metal with soft, melodious parts in their songs has been at the heart of A7X‘s songwriting, a style that has brought them mainstream success and drawn millions of rock fans to their music the world over.
